We are located at N 42° 43.822′ / W 087° 46.567′. We are twenty nautical miles south of Milwaukee, and fifty nautical miles north of Chicago. If approaching from the south, pay attention to the reef marked by a fixed concrete marker to the north and a green buoy to the south. It is shallow the closer you get to the concrete marker. If approaching from the north, watch the depth at Wind Point (with the lighthouse). Give it plenty of room. There are red buoys marking the end of the reef, but a typical pleasure craft (power or sail) does not need to go that far east to comfortably pass. The entrance of the harbor is clearly marked on navigational charts.

When you arrive, you will need to check-in at the Boater Registration Desk inside of the Anchor’s Away Ship Store.  The Ship Store is open Monday – Thursday 8 am – 6 pm, Friday 8 am – 9 pm, Saturday 7 am – 9 pm and Sunday 7 am – 5 pm. If you are going to be arriving after those hours, please contact our 2nd Shift Dockhand on Channel 9 or at 262-977-0387. The 2nd Shift Dockhand is available until 9 pm. If checking in after 9 pm, please contact our onsite security on Channel 9 or at 262-902-8398.
